No, currently we will only purchase vehicles registered in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The V5 document, also known as the log book, has details of the vehicles registered keeper. To prevent fraud, we will only buy a vehicle from the person whose name is on the V5 document, unless we have written consent from the registered keeper to pay a third party.
We are not able to buy your vehicle if you are not in possession of the V5c document with your name on it.
If you have lost the V5 document, then you can obtain a new one by completing a V62 form which is available from the DVLA, post offices or online at www.gov.uk
Yes, you can but we require a letter of authorisation from the owner and we will only pay the funds into an account in the same name as the registered keeper.
Please feel free to contact us for more details.
We are happy to provide a valuation for your vehicle if it has a private registration plate. We do not trade in number plates and if your private plate has a monetary value this would not be reflected in the valuation we provide.
We are happy to deal with people employed within the motor trade as a private sale, but we do not buy vehicles from motor trade stock.
There are numerous factors that effect a vehicles valuation and in some instance’s changes can happen daily. Due to the current climate all our valuations are valid for a 24 hour period, unless otherwise stated.
No, we collect your vehicle from your chosen address at a time and date that is convenient to you.
Unlike many of our competitors we do not charge any fees when we buy your vehicle, regardless of the value.
If you confirm you wish to sell your vehicle to us and then change your mind, or the vehicle is found to have been incorrectly described, we reserve the right to charge a fee payable to cover costs we have incurred. Full details of these fees can be found in our terms and conditions.
Yes, we can collect from any UK address at your convenience.
Dependant on your location, our drivers will usually use connecting public transport to arrive with you for the specified time. Please be aware that they may encounter delays but will keep you informed every step of the way.
Our logistics drivers all wear lanyards with photo ID and Revilo branded workwear. The time and place for the collection will be pre-arranged and you will be aware of which of our drivers will be enroute.
For ease, we request you have the following ready for when our drivers arrive:
• Both sets of keys
• Logbook
• Vehicle Manuals
• Service History
• Current MOT certificate or proof of MOT
• Removal of all personal belongings.
From arriving with you, our drivers will complete an inspection of the vehicle and ensure that all the correct documentation is available. The process from arrival to driving away following payment of funds could be anything between 30 and 45 minutes.
We are powered by Coutts private banking allowing funds to be transferred to you instantly. We encourage all our customers to check with their bank to ensure the funds have cleared before we take your vehicle away.
Absolutely, you are entitled to change your mind up until the relevant contracts and invoices have been signed. Depending on when you change your mind, we reserve the right to charge a fee payable to cover costs we have incurred. Full details of these fees can be found in our terms and conditions. Please email info@reviloautomotive.co.uk for a copy of these.
